Free Social Image Resizer

Every platform wants a different image size, and posting a square photo as a Story looks… rough. Upload your image once, and this tool resizes it to every size that matters β€” Instagram posts, Stories, and Reels covers, Facebook posts and covers, X, LinkedIn, YouTube thumbnails, Pinterest pins β€” with proper cropping or letterboxing, your choice.

Two Ways to Work

Crop, Fit, or Stretch?

Crop to fill is the default and usually the right call β€” it trims the edges so the image fills the frame with no borders. Fit inside (letterbox) shows the whole image with a background color filling the gaps β€” better when nothing can be cut off, like text graphics. Stretch distorts the image to fit exactly; honestly, you'll almost never want this, but it's there.

Quality Notes

PNG is lossless but heavy β€” great for graphics with text. JPEG at 90% is the sweet spot for photos. WebP gives you the smallest files if your platform accepts it. Your image never uploads anywhere; everything renders in your browser.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes does it cover?

All the common ones: Instagram post/portrait/Story/Reel (1080Γ—1080, 1080Γ—1350, 1080Γ—1920, 1080Γ—566), Facebook post and cover, X post, LinkedIn post, YouTube thumbnail (1280Γ—720), Pinterest pin (1000Γ—1500) β€” plus any custom dimensions you type.

What's the difference between crop and letterbox?

Crop to fill trims the edges so your image fills the frame with no borders. Letterbox (fit inside) shows the entire image and fills the leftover space with a background color you pick β€” better for graphics with text that can't be cut.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser via canvas. Your image never leaves your device.
